Billing questions
How does the balance work?
Every plan comes with a monthly included balance: $3 on Free, $10 on Pro, $60 on Business. Operations — recognition, diarization, ingestion, storage — are deducted from it at cost. When the balance runs out, you can top it up.
What does "at cost" mean?
We don't mark up processing. Recognition is billed at the engine's price, ingestion is $0.003 per minute, diarization is $0.02 per minute, and storage is $0.003 per GiB per day. Live prices are always visible in the app.
Do I need a payment card to start?
No. The free plan with a $3 included balance is available right after sign-up — no card required. You only pay when you choose to top up your balance or move to a paid plan.
How do paid plans differ from the free one?
Only in the size of the monthly included balance: Pro ($10/mo) gives a $10 balance and Business ($50/mo) gives $60. The feature set is identical on every plan, so a paid tier simply means more processing per month.
Can I use my own LLM and STT keys?
Yes. You connect your own keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Gemini, Deepgram, AssemblyAI and others) and pay the provider directly, not from your balance. A self-hosted worker works the same way: local recognition and diarization run with no per-minute billing, and audio never leaves your perimeter.
